Bio: |
TMH works as a model maker in the television and film industry in London, England as well as a freelance sculptor in the toy industry. Whereas professional work is always dictated by the project brief from various clients, personal work allows for a much more creative approach, where influences as diverse as mythology, fairytales and counter-culture merge to create a brightly-coloured world of saints, prophets, mutants and demons. A deep interest in traditional craft skills sees TMH work in many different media, such as wood carving, sculpting in wax and clay, pewter and bronze casting and painting on paper, wood and canvas. Custom toys are an extension of those interests, where several different techniques merge on a three-dimensional piece of vinyl.
